USAC National Midget Series - Nine Racing #19
| |
| |

In 2008, Kody drove full time in the USAC National Midget Series for Steve Lewis and the Nine Racing team. The #19 has found great success on the pavement, setting fast time in three events at three different tracks, including two track records.
Kody won his first National event in Kenly, North Carolina at Southern National Speedway early in the year. In the following race, Kody finished 2nd to teammate Dave Darland in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to give the team their

| |
first 1-2 finish sinceswitching to Toyota power.
In an extremely competitive series, Kody and the #19 team finished in the Top 10 in every pavement event, finishing all but two of them in the Top 5. |
| |
| |
USAC Silver Crown Series - Team 6R #19, 221
| |
| |
| Kody made his Silver Crown debut for Team 6R and owner Darryl Guiducci, at the Springfield Mile dirt track in August. Their results surprised everyone, qualifying for the event in 4th, and running much of the race in the Top 5 before a broken ignition box caused them to fade to a 9th place finish. Later in the year, the team gave Kody the opportunity to race on pavement, making his debut at Phoenix International Raceway in November. The team qualified 7th, less than one-tenth of a second off of the pole, and ran the first part of the race in the Top 10 before a severed brake line ended their night. |

USAC Western States Sprint Cars and Midgets - September 8, 2007 |
| |
| |
Becoming the 19th driver in USAC history to sweep a USAC Sprint/Midget Doubleheader, Kody won the Western Sprint and Western Midget feature events at Altamont Motorsports Park. |

USAC Western States Midget Series: Driving for Cruz Pedregon Racing, the team made a “clean sweep” of the entire event, winning the feature, the first heat race, and posting the fastest qualifying time. |
| |
USAC Western States Sprint Car Series: Driving the TK Motorsports #17, Kody won the feature event, making it two in a row after winning the Sprint Feature on September 1 in Salt Lake City, Utah. This was the second time the team had back to back victories this season. |
